The company Werner Kuhlmann had been founded in the middle of the seventies in Marl. Beside the production of export boxes it then was also engaged in building gazebos, stairs, high class furniture and interior fittings. First slowly but then more and more our industrial clients were requiering our entire expertise. Therefore in 1980 we moved to a much bigger production hall. In addition bit by bit we gave up the branches that were not linked to export. In 1985 this aim was reached. .............................. As a conclusion we joined the HPE, the alliance for wood crating industrie and export crating companies. In between, in 1982 we changed our company's name to Werner Kuhlmann GmbH. In the next few years we expanded our business segment with forwarding, including all modes of tranport as well as customs clearance for export and import. Our company ground is has now four times the size than it had at the beginning and we now have three halls for production, crating and storage in Marl. Today we are a reliable partner for the exporting economy and we care for our customers with advising and executing. Moreover we developed and now offer the extensive software Cratemaker. With this program which is now working all over the country thousands of cases are being built, administered and sent every year. |
